You have found us, fellow visionary. Welcome to The Future Is Upon Us Society of Eloquent Visionaries.
Our global society comprises the best and brightest thinkers of the future. Those who have taken it upon themselves to dream of what possibilities lay before us. We are an informal collection of historians and futurists who aim to dream of a better tomorrow. Each generation, as technology improves, we create new visions and dreams once thought impossible to help inspire those who come after us to maintain that focus towards the ultimate goal, a dream utopia for all.
As our dreams align with modern technology, it is more important than ever that we focus on what lies ahead to prevent technology from outpacing our goals for a better world. We are the shepherds who must keep the dream alive to inspire those who come after us to inspire those who come before us.
WHO WE ARE
An informal society open to all who dream of a better future. Whether through inventions, communication, agriculture, social experiments, poetry, magic, music or anything else, every person can share the dreams of what can be.
We are located globally and have members in every country. Our membership is recruited by our peers to ensure that the society will live up to the point that it inspires the future generations to inspire us to dream of what will be.
WHAT WE DO
Put simply, we dream of a better future.
Our Founder Nicholas Tesla had a simple credo:
Help us dream of the better future foretold to us. Keep the vision and faith of a future utopia.
We record our dreams for the future and aim to converse regularly with others about what can be.
We do not dictate but inspire all of those around us.
We put forward ideas and concepts into the world so that they can manifest into dreams of the future.
Through both formal and informal outings, we create the vessel and space for conversations to flow and new friends to be made.
We continue to grow the FIUU to ensure its long lasting legacy into the future.
We ensure that technology doesn’t move beyond our hope and intentions by helping to refocus on the dream goal, building a utopia for all.
Our History
The FIUU Society of Eloquent Visionaries was first presented as a concept to a small group of inventors and creators and dreamers by Nicholas Tesla at the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair.
The founding members included Ottoman Anschutz, German Photographer and Chronophotographer, Frank Haven Hall, Inventor of the Braille Plate printer, William Morrison, inventor of the first electric vehicle, Harry Houdini, Magician, Anita Socola Specht, Pianist, amongst others lost to history documentation.
Tesla, during some of his early experiments with radio waves and electricity, stumbled upon a frequency with a repeating message.
Tesla spent time deciphering the code, and it reads as below:
Hello, I am Dr. Bellatrux 1011200 D-5 Rocimante.
This message is for Nicholas Tesla. I come from the year 2148. I am using tremendous power to send this message back to you. Your visions for a better world have come true. I send my thanks to you. You and …… society of….. have helped us create a dream utopia far beyond our imaginations. We shall never know if you receive this message; much of our data from your time is lost, during the …….. When digital storage was gone.
But what remained was the visions, the crystals, that inspired us to be better…we….must create…
DATA UNDECIPHERABLE
Unfortunately, the message was too garbled to complete, but what Tesla did hear, it inspired him to think about the possibilities of this future. What if he could create a society of worldwide visionaries focused on creating an ideal future? How do we collect these stories to ensure we don’t lose them to time? Is the ideal future shared over the radio waves inevitable, or do we need to create it?
The Chicago Worlds Fair finally inspired Tesla, seeing the collection of scientists, inventors, artists, and regular folk working to create the the ideal future realized. He started the society as a way for us to discuss our dreams of the future and help us focus our ambitions and goals.
Since then, the society has been thriving as an underground organization recruiting the brightest thinkers and visionaries to help us navigate our way toward the future presented by Dr. Rocimante.
Although we have no way of knowing what the future holds, our faith in focusing on a better and brighter future helps us believe that we are focused towards the inevitable future that Dr. Rocimante comes from. Our actions create a domino effect that inevitably inspires a young dreamer to do the impossible and inspire those who come before him to start again.
