PRODUCTIONS
Sine 2020 The Exposure Project has been creating independent works exploring the melancholia of existence as a human being. Through isolated shows for small audiences to large scale productions, each project aims at exploring a concept of human connection and the desire to “be seen
Each project is “site-responsive” and aims to utilize location as a design element to elevate each show. No show is similar, but all can be traced back to meaningful engagement and dialogue.
A large amount of our work has been in the creation of immersive, site-responsive pieces centered around magical realism. A lot of inspiration comes from Jorge Luis Borges, Cervantes, and the Spanish magicians Juan Tamariz and Gabi Parerras.
Each performance is meant to focus on the individual audience members to make them feel seen and offer them a chance to share that feeling of belonging long after the experience.
